1st SRS World Sports Final
17-07-2027 to 24-07-2027
Gemona, Italy
Ready to Race? Welcome to the Sports-Class Racing Series, a series of international high-level competitions to crown a Sports-Class Champion. If you enjoy racing mid-aspect wings, you’ve come to the right place! The SRS is for pilots who have outgrown fun and national competitions, and are looking to take the next step. It’s also for experienced EN-B & EN-C pilots who want to finally be able to race on a level playing field. In the SRS, pilots will enjoy all the thrills of high-level racing without needing to fly an EN-D or CCC wing. In short, it’s paragliding racing for a new generation. ________________________________________________ This is the 1st SRS World Sports Final. For this event, we are going to the fabulous Gemona venue, in North Italy. July is one of the most reliable months to be in Gemona and you can expect it to be green, scenic with temperatures around 25-30 degrees. We hope you like ice-cream as the region is famous for it! Gemona has an interesting mix of flatlands out front, and mountains to the sides and rear. When the weather is unstable, we explore the flatlands, but if it becomes stable, we head into the mountains. This venue has become a favourite of the PWCA in recent years and offers a large variety of tasks. The venue, with the base on Bordano, offers camping for those on a budget, including showers, toilets. There is a bar on site as well. The event will have full 7 racing tasks. ________________________________________________ You can find out a lot more about the SRS series on the FAQ section of our website: https://sportsracingseries.org/faq/ Register now to receive more information.
