Paragliding accuracy Landing Competition – Event Info The championship is held under the supervision of the Asian Air Sports Federation (Asian Air Sports Federation – AFA), in coordination with the Olympic Council of Asia (Olympic Council of Asia – OCA), and in the presence of the President of the Asian Air Sports Federation, Mr. Yousif Al Hammadi, and the members of the Executive Committee • Location: Outskirts of Erbil City, Kurdistan, Iraq (20 minutes from city center) • Site Details: Mountain elevation 103 meters above the landing zone; excellent for target landing; takeoff possible in any direction within 180°. • Arrival Date: March 29, 2026 (Erbil International Airport) • Eligibility: Qualified pilots with a valid FAI Sporting License; priority based on FAI rankings and championship registration dates. • Requirement: All pilots must sign a liability waiver at the site. • Safety: Participation involves inherent risks; pilots are responsible for their own safety and must follow all instructions.
